Default '04 FLHRSI Cheap Cam Tensioners Upgrade Advice

Due to unexpected financial setbacks, looks as if I have to abandon the hydraulic chain drive cam tensioners upgrades.

Currently looking at getting these items instead:
1) Cyco Cam Tensioner Shoes $15 <----- Cyco pads via http://twincamtensioner.com/product/...tensioner-kit/
2) Andrews TW21 Cams $250
3) Torrington B-156 inner cam bearings $16
4) Baisley LMR-002 oil spring $13
5) Dobeck EJK Gen 3.5 Tuner $225

If there's anything I've overlooked asides from outer cam bearings and gaskets,
please let me know.

Much appreciated!

Are you cutting the pushrods or removing the rocker boxes? (New tubes/pushrods if cutting old)
And don’t forget the O rings..

How many miles on it now? Agree on replacing the lifters. I’d go through the top and not buy new pushrods unless the cam you choose doesn’t allow stock.

Have to remove the tank to install the Dobeck EJK Gen 3.5 Tuner so might as well remove the rocker boxes.

Where are you buying the Cyco cam shoes from? Heard it's getting harder to find those.

Only 18K miles as the 2 previous owners didn't ride all that much. OEM lifters for that model year
are supposed to be good for about 40K miles if memory serves. Defintely want to retain the OEM
pushrods. Not a fan of adjustable pushrods. It's a very mild cam for low to mid range torque.

At this link: http://twincamtensioner.com/product/...tensioner-kit/

However, I have to click that direct link as it's not available on their site.

I just sent an email to them asking if they're still available for 1999-2005
Twin Cams.

Personally, with only 18k miles on the clock I wouldn’t do more than open the cam chest to take a peak at the tensioner wear. I’d wait to replace everything when you have the funds to do what you want and don’t settle and rush it just because of your current financial situation. Inasmuch, I’d get a better tuner when you get cams which would also cost more.

Just checked the OEM parts fiche and HD doesn't sell the pads. Have to pay ~$60 for each new spring tensioner.
Twin Power pads not the same as Cyco and the latter might not be available until they reply to my email.

What's the issue with Dobeck tuners? They were originally Techlusion:
