Hello, I have a 2010 Street Glide with factory TSSM (Turn Signal Security Module). I swapped out my incandescent bulbs in the turn signals with SigZ LED's. Following many peeps recommendation, I installed a Badlands Plug-n-Play SUPER Load Equalizer LEQ (LE-03-SR). Everything installed without any difficulty and I took my bike for a ride. During the ride, all the running lights and signals worked properly. When I returned home and parked the bike, the TSSM "arming" flash looked different than factory because the headlights flashed with the 4 way signals?!!! I didn't think a whole lot of it until I went to ride the bike again. As I turned on the ignition, the key light came on & stayed on in the dash and my turn signals wouldn't work. I checked the DTC codes and sure enough, the signal (S) had kicked a code b1123 and b1124. I reset the code and tried it again, signals work fine. When I go to shut the bike off, the TSSM flashes with headlights & 4 ways and upon reignition, the codes are kicked again with signals inoperable. Every time.
So, I removed the in-line load equalizer and everything about the TSSM returns to normal and the bike doesn't kick out any trouble codes. Of course the signals do the hyper flash thing but none of the above mentioned things occur. Am I installing the load equalizer wrong? Do I need to reset anything after plugging the badlands unit in? The instructions and video I've seen from Badlands don't mention anything other than plug it in.
I have never used the badlands stuff, but the Custom Dynamics stuff I've used was just plug & play.....
It's possible they sent you a bad equalizer, while rare, it happens......
Do you also have a run/turn/brake module for your rear lights....?? I know if you have both a R/T/B module and equalizer, they need to be plugged into the rear harness in a specific order... the equalizer must go before the R/T/B module....
Custom dynamics also has a TSSM reset procedure for if the signals still hyper flash after install of their signal stabilizer.... but that doesn't seem to be your issue..
Looks like it's time to find out how good Badlands customer service is.... give them a call...
Good luck with the repair...
EDIT: I just checked the codes and they show left and right turn TSSM output is "shorted to ground." My bet is that either you shorted something during install or, more likely, the equalizer is the wrong one for your bike or defective.....

Yep, called RRI, who sold me the Badlands Module. They said they were notified that a batch of the Load Equalizer "LE-03-SR" was defective and if anyone reported issues, they will send them a new unit. Apparently, it is specifically the recent LE-03-SR models only. Sounds like you guys nailed the diagnosis, thank you for your help. I have a new module on the way, I'll let you know!
