Default Tuner VS Cam

Hey all, first post here!
looking to get a little more pep out of my 09 ultra. Right now it only has some bassani slip-ons, I was wondering would I be better off going with a tuner like a power vision or going with a cam, like a Andrews 48H or something of that nature. If I done the tuner I would get a A/C also. Just wanted some opinions on this.

cheers and ride safe!!

Welcome to the forum from central Texas.

Finish the stage I first with a tuner and A/C. Ride safe and stay vigilant.

Power vision, Andrews 48, A/C woke up my 15 Low Rider. Good choice. Highly recommend it.

bigal51, did you do all 3 at the same time? Also, do you have the auto tune powervision kit or no? Is the extra $400 worth spending for the auto tune?

If you put a cam in it, you're still going to need a tuner. I would go with the Stage 1 and a tuner first. Then, later, if you do the cam, you already have a tuner.

If you purchase the tuner from Fuel Moto, they will provide free-pre-programming, technical support and double warranty.

If you want Getty up go That will add to any future changes, power vision is the best investment going.
But before I spent a cent more I'd talk to DK then start making my mod choices.
Just my opinion

I added a PowerVision 1st, bike was already stage 1 with dealer flash. It was okay but when I added the 48H cams the bike really woke up. Got even better when I went from slip ons to a Jackpot 2:1 exhaust.

If I did it over again I would have went with a big bore and cam. That being said a 96” with the 48H cams does just fine.

Good luck getting it right... just know you will always be wanting more after you get use to each stage.
