Ok,
So strange question, I have a 2017 Streetglide, 50K miles, last couple months i randomly get a check engine light, i use VH Fuelpak3 to check the coded and its a speedo disconnect, no big deal speedo still works, clear code and go on, well happening more frequent now, and i have notice a very specific scenario:

With front wheel turned all the way to the right, when you turn back to center it cycles the Instrument Cluster and throws speedo disconnect code. On from turning from the extreme right to center. Left to Center no issues.
Removed front Outer Fairing, checked all connections, made sure no wires are being pinched. Cant seem to find the issue, i am sure its a frayed wire grounding out, but sure can't seem to find it.... ANY one else seen this??????

 

Make sure battery cables are tight. Had same issue on an older bike and that was problem. Then check main harnesses around neck for zip ties constricting movement and that would be where to look for damaged wiring. Good luck.
