Having issues with radio reception

Default Having issues with radio reception
Just recently my radio reception took a dump on me. Some of the stations I used to get I no longer can get or it is really bad. Digging into the problem I found that when I turn my ignition switch to the accessory position my stations come back fine, in the ignition setting the reception is terrible again. In searching other posts I found one that was exactly the same issue however, he never did say if he fixed it and how?
Anyone here have or heard about issues such as this, crazy weird to say the least...

Welcome to the forum. What year? Any electrical mods?

I would start my pulling the fairing and checking to make sure the antenna is connected properly.

2011, the only modification are the l.e.d. turn signals with the load equalizer. I did pull the equalizer from the loop to see if that might have been the problem however, whether connected of not it still displayed the issue.. I do have pulsating head lamps though, I've been running that for over 2 years without an issue, also, a bad *** tail lamp, also connected to the bike for a long time.

I do not have an l.e.d. headlamps. Standard bulbs, with the pulsating modulator which has been on the bike for well over 3 years now.

This will be my last resort, man, I was hoping someone other than that one post a bunch of years ago would have had this same issue?

Modulator is failing? Try some diagnosis - unplug it, see if you still have the problem.

Disconnect the turn signals. If that stops it try adding a couple of ferrite chokes to them.
