Default KST Mayhem Bagger bars

Hello all! I have a question for those who have or are running KST mayhem bagger bars on 14 and later Street Glide. Have you run into any issues using the stock clutch and brake lines? Reason I ask is I took my bike up to the local Harley dealer and showed them my proud install. They said that in 6-8 months there will be a failure on those lines do to the rerouting of the lines in the neck? Thanks for your answers.

LOL, if that's the case, there have been and will be a ton more that fail before yours due to the same reason.

I haven't seen a single case of the hydraulic lines failing, and I'm on the forum almost daily. I think you'll be ok.

As long as your routing is without pinch points and doesn’t interfere or impede turning, you’re good to go.

Depends if you take the extra few minutes and run the lines properly. But never usually an issue.

KST says Rushmores up to 12" can be done with stock cables and lines, but needs wire extensions. Sounds like you're shop is butt-hurt over not getting to do the install.
