I did the Screaming Eagle Cam tensioner upgrade and added Woods cams and Knight Prowler lifters. With the lower miles on your bike, I would just change out the cam plate and tensioners and keep the original cams in. Therefore you don't have to press new bearings into the bike. There are plenty of threads about the change. Since you have the service manual, you're halfway there. Have fun!
