I don't remember this.

Just a comment from a viewer of your bike and previous user of that same RKClassic Seat ...

If your going to keep using that seat, you might think about getting a Strap. You don't even need to attach it at it's mounts (I just tucked the ends under the seat). They always look "Unfinished" to me when I see the Strap "Passages/Tunnels", but without the Strap.

Also be conscious of the Hard Bag lid Edge rubbing on that seat's Trim "Flap"

.

Threw a plate on it and rode to work. Weather's nice so the cops have way more **** to look out for. Bike rides awesome on the highway. Only looked for 6th gear once 😎

Make sure to get a factory service manual! You can find used ones on ebay.
That's a fine machine!

Looks great! 05 King up here in Enfield. Tensioners are wearing but still in limits. That’s my fall project to replace the shoes and keeps the stock cams. I’m sure we will cross paths this summer!

Congrats!

Excellent buy. Traded my 03 King with 117 on the clock....ran like a top and it was billetproof.

Did a Stage II and went to gear drive at same time, so no tensioners to worry about.

I like it. Beautiful bike brother. My 1999 RK has the stock tensioners and so far so good. I check them every 10K miles. When the time comes I'll change the shoes myself.
