Thanks again for the info everyone. Unfortunately with dmv at a standstill I probably won't be riding it. CT is "opening" this coming Monday but I'm absolutely positive it will take them forever to catch up to the back log.
When I get some miles in I'm sure I will have some questions to post. You guys have given me a lot to look at in the mean time as far as cams and other stuff. First big purchase I think will be a lift table to start brushing up on the easy service I can do.
I did that to get it inspected. And I may have taken the long way to the shop.
Halfway through my trip to pick it up I realized none of my trailer lights were working. I was "that *******" on the highway at night with no trailer brake lights or signals. I made it home without getting pulled over. I feel like that used up what's left in my good luck bank for a while. It can wait till it's legal.

In this rathole called New York State, there's no light at the end of the tunnel as far as DMV opening. Been riding my recently purchased bike illegally now for 2 months....
I would call the dmv and ask them if u can ride on the bill of sale as long as u have insurance and motorcycle endorsement. I have heard that's what some places are doing.
Have 2004 Road King Custom. OEM tensioners replaced with SE Hybrid Kit and Andrews TW21 cams.
One other item that wasn't pointed out is the rear Y-pipe. Mine broke and was replaced with 2008 headers
(plugged sensor holes). Decided to replace rear Y-pipe with FullSac True Duals Conversion Kit along with
VTwin Goodies one piece heat shield. Less engine heat from rear header on legs and battery.
Personally prefer the pre-2007 Road Kings as the TC88 is the coolest running and smoothest motor IMO
plus the 5-spd is a robust transmission. Starting with the 2007 model year the motors ran hotter and hotter
with the increased displacements.
Looks like CT is doing paperwork drop off. I'm putting together a packet and hopefully have it registered on Tuesday of this coming week. Just in time for 5 days of rain.
