when you married your power vision to your bike, it should have automatically saved your stock tune. or whatever tune you had loaded before you did your flash.

this should help:

Can also reach out to Fuelmoto. I’m sure they can supply you with that tune.

I'm waiting for FM response. Apparently only the first vehicle you tune is automatically saved, additional license tune is not.

I should still have mine but I can't find it on this laptop. I'll check the other laptop and the PV unit itself and see if I still have it.

that’s correct but I figured FM could supply you with a base oem tune map that should be pretty bang on.

Weeboy , I thought so too but FM did not offer it up. By their advice I am utilizing a procedure that should get the original tune back into the machine. For comparitive purposes I would like to "see" the *.pvt of that tune.

Have you reached out to Dynojet? The 2017 Fat Boy I just traded off I neglected to save the stock tune but they gave me a procedure to find and reinstall it. If I can find it I could probably email it.

Hello Barry‍, there are several ways to get the STK file. When you first connected the unit to a computer after having married it to the bike, when you try to perform any functions it asks you if you want to back it up to the PC. If you answered yes to this, the software saved a copy of your original stock ECM calibration under the "My documents/Power Vision/Original Tunes folder on your computer. You can look in that folder and see if there is a file listed there.

If the file is not there, you can open the WinPV software, connect your Power Vision to the computer using the USB cable, then click POWERVISION > DIAGNOSTIC/TEST FUNCTIONS > GET ECM DATA. Hit YES on the next screen and see if one of the files listed has the extension .STK. If it does, highlight it, then click GET. The software will now ask you where to save the file.

If there is no STK file in the list as mentioned previously, you can create a file on the PV. Connect the PV to the bike and turn the key and run switch on. From the main screen , tap PROGRAM VEHICLE > [ACCEPT] > LOAD TUNE > LOAD COPY > LOAD COPY OF ORIGINAL > [OK]. Pick a tune slot to put the copy of original file into. Now you can use the previous procedure to find the copy of original file in the custom tune slots in the WinPV software. The STK file will now be called COPY OF ORIGINAL TUNE.PVT (not STK - although it is the same as the STK). To access this file within the WinPV software: GET TUNE -> COPY OF ORIGINAL TUNE.PVT.
If you are using the PV that was initially used to tune the bike, the original STK (stock) file is more than likely already on the PV. You will need to know the bike's VEHICLE UID (unique identifier) or the STK file name, before proceeding. If you know the bike's STK file name or the VEHICLE UID, you can skip to STEP TWO.

If you do NOT know the vehicle STK file name or VEHICLE UID:

STEP ONE:
1. Plug the Power Vision unit into the motorcycle.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the run position and the run switch to the run position to power up the Power Vision unit.
3. When the screen is displayed select VEHICLE TOOLS > VEHICLE INFO.
4. When the vehicle info is displayed, find and write down the VEHICLE UID. This UID should begin with two digits that should be the model year of the motorcycle. It will be in a format like: XX-XXX-XXXXXXX.
5. Turn off the bike and unplug the PV from the bike.

STEP TWO:
1. Plug the Power Vision unit into the motorcycle.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the run position and the run switch to the run position to power up the Power Vision unit.
3. When the screen is displayed select > Settings
4. Select> Enter Code
5. Type in code: 212052
6. Select the .STK file that matches the UID for the bike that is displayed in the window.
7. If asked if you want to reset the learned fuel trims, select yes.
8. The Power Vision is now sending your original tune calibration file back to the motorcycles ECM.

Once this STK file has been forced back into the ECM, that ECM would have the EXACT programming that it had when the tune license was created, or when the PV was first "married" to the bike.
