Only tip is to let the epoxy cure, the longer the better just to be safe.

My bike being a 2012 had basically the same compensator but without the thrust bearings and deflector. When I bought my bike it had 50k miles and the compensator was hammered, the new one feels great so far but I don’t have the mileage to really test it yet.

[Bought it last year with 4700 miles and built it cholo style and rode it all the way around florida in March. Now I live here in Orlando

Is it going to kill anything if I skip the deflector for the time being and install in a few months when I can be sure to have a dry shelter for it?
  • cover with plastic and tape off...yes take your time...put that piece in place before reassembly...I was able to use a dealers caulk gun for there HD epoxy...(brought cover there)...clamped it's as instructed...
  • make sure to use new Crank Bolt and Clutch Nut and 5 new inner primary bolts!!...I can't believe the difference in how it starts, shifts, and how smooth the throttle roll is with on and off the gas...no more shifter assembly shake or vibration...good luck...PS follow the manual and sequence for assembly by the book...tourque specs and tightening sequence...

Anyone have part number and/or have tips to find the new narrow cover? Do they all fit or does it need to be a 2014 and up 103 cover? Id rather cough up 200 bucks than glue **** inside my primary if I don't have too

This is the one I used, ordered through my local dealer. You’ll also need a derby cover that fits it, if you scroll down to description those part numbers are listed in the link.
