cant cycle the abs unit without a digitech or theres a few companies making alternatives. IT mercenary makes one.
Me thinks it can be done...but it's a two person job. As one person bleeds the brakes, the other pours the fluid keeping the same level constant in the reservoir.

It can be done with one person with a vacum bleeder 2 people is always better though. The key is not to introduce air into the system if so get it out before turning the ignition on.

It can also be done with a bottle, a length of plastic tube and a wrench!
Doesn't the owners manual come with a table indicating the servicing schedule?!
I agree the Mighty Vac is junk. The bottle method works fantastic. I also think the 2 year interval is completely ridiculous.
I just ordered a set of speedbleeders a few minutes ago, want to put one on the clutch too but not sure which one fits. I just went through all of this bleeding brakes and clutch yesterday and what a fiasco it was. I will say the Muller clutch slave is awesome.
I do all of my own services except the brake fluid. Closest dealer only charges $120 for the flush and its just easier. They also take my old oil for recycling no charge.
Brake fluid changes are not as critical for standard but ABS it is pretty much a must because of moisture issues.
