Hello,
I have a 2015 ultra classic low with the boom box 6.5. Today the USB port would not read the music on my thumb drive properly. When I selected find artist it did not display all the artists. When I did select an artist and selected tract list it showed some songs on the list with a red triangle with an exclamation mark on the left of the title of the song this has never happened before in the five years I have owned the bike.
I re downloaded the latest update and that was successful. I just plugged the thumb drive with my music on it into my computer and it works fine. That tells me that the bike read the update thumb drive properly, and that my music thumb drive works on my computer.
Has anyone ever had anything like this happen to them ? Or do I get the quppie doll
Thanks
Mark
My 2016 ultra limited started not recognizing the usb at the end of last season. I switched usb's but it did the same.
What sometimes helps is change to the next song
I also unplug the usb and reinsert it (when i'm stopped)
I figure it's hard to fix since it's intermittent.
Sometimes the quite is nice
I have about 1600 but some I just skip over.and some are repeats That's easier than deleting. My memory is not what its used to be and I'd have to play some to see if I need to delete
I also shuffle. When I have to reinsert the usb, sometimes I have to set that up again.
No one plays music from a thumb drive or uses terms like quppie doll. I would suggest finding another source for your music like your smart phone.
whatcha talking about? the music on my thumb drive is of a better quality than what i get from streaming on my phone. and i don't really want to use my phone as a storage device for mp3s. so, this guy at least, still uses 'thumb drives' to play music.
