I had the RideStr8 on my Ultra Classic and also had the HD centerstand. No issues
That's the problem, I've seen no reports of incidents at all. Actually, it's not a problem for us, but it is a problem for the TT reps if they intend on making their arguments credible. It always amazes me when companies promote their products by attacking others on the market, especially without any kind of documentation or detailed explanation. Just saying "ours is the best" or "theirs will damage your bike" without furnishing details won't cut it with most people on this forum. Also, insinuating that owners of other products are stupid because they didn't buy theirs is bad salesmanship.

Not to mention: "As always bikers know everything and nothing." Nice attitude for someone selling their motorcycle products. Very glad I didn't choose theirs.

That did strike me as odd, too, and I alluded to that earlier. I'm not trying to defend what I own for its own sake, but am earnest in trying to determine what they're trying to tell us. I also want to see some documentation on some of these rather outlandish claims of how use of their competitors' products will result in the imminent destruction of our motorcycles.
Hello Iclick,
Though you may a lot of time on your hands to continue to provoke comments we do not have this luxury.
No one is attacking others on the market as you so state, we are and we will continue to state facts that the company has learned through R & D.
No one has called anyone stupid, these are your words and thoughts trying to provoke comments and we don't play that game.
Have a great day!
I have a Ride Str8, it works as advertised. Doesn't significantly add to vibration (that I've noticed). It's sturdy, and I'm very happy with the way it fixed the tail wagging movement. I'm sure there are other products that work just as well, maybe even better. Don't really care, I do know that my bike is much improved with the Ride Str8, and I'd happily buy another one if I had another pre-09 touring bike.
Tru Track, I'm sure your product works great. You seem to have lots of happy customers, good for you. Thanks for helping to make our pastime safer and more enjoyable. However, I can't see how lumping your customers together with an insult is going to help your business. ("As always, bikers know everything and nothing.")
Iclick, pal, lots of forum members really appreciate your in-depth look at different products. I know I do. This seemed out of left field, don't really understand why.
Hello Iclick,
This is True-Track and we have just read this thread and have some comments. As always bikers know everything and nothing.

Hmmmm. All this from a thread that is 2 1/2 years old from a guy sharing his experience and reasoning for choosing a product. Sounds like game playing to me.
I may be one that knows "nothing", but if I ever do decide on a stabilizer, I do know which one I won't buy. Thanks for the help on that one!

I asked True-Track in an earlier post above if RAGDOCTOR worked for them. No answer. He is hurting True-Tracks business if he is. He instagated this.
