I have a 2016 FLHX Streetglide. In daylight I can hardly see the mileage figures on the stock speedometer. Nighttime is fine of course.
I've been looking but not finding a way to get those digits more visible. Is there a way to just increase the contrast, or make it brighter? I've seen whole speedometers with bright colors, but I don't want to swap out all the instruments and I don't want really bright colors. I just want to be able to read the numbers in daylight.
If you are wearing polarized glasses the LCD's get washed out if that is what you are referring to. I have an issue with the main gauge cluster being hard to read quickly in certain lighting conditions.

That's what I was going to mention for the LCD. I don't have any issue reading mine even with polarized lenses, but not all lenses are created equal. For the gauges, my faces are white, so it's rediculous easy to see even in the daylight. But, my buddy who has black faces says his are hard to read when there's a glare.
So OP, are your gauge faces black, white, or something else?
