Default Hog Tunes

so i just got my new Hog Tunes and i was very excited, after i installed them and took if for the first ride. i didnt notice much of a difference over stock. they do have a little more base but they dont seem to go as loud as they were before. i dont know since a lot of you guys praise them im just not sure they make enough of a difference.

I just got some for a buddy of mine. He said before w/the stock speakers he would crank up the volume to 1 notch under full and now with the hogtunes he at 1 notch under half and very happy with the sound.

Did you get the right ones for your year, and have you upgraded your software on your HK radio lately?

I think mine sound great! However, I don't have anything to compare them to as I have the E-Glide Standard.

How do you determine the software version and upgrade?

Also, you may want to try a cd and compare the two, maybe the signal strength of the station you have it tuned to is a weak signal, and not getting the most from the station, not the speakers. I noticed a huge difference, and so do my buddies.

what year bike do you have? if you havea radiothat calls for 2 ohms and are running the earlier 5.75 ohm hog tune speakers I could see them not sounding very loud, mine on my 05 were like adding an amp over my stockers! the new radios might just be that much better sounding than the ones on the 05's
