What happens if you turn it backwards and just make a longer anchoring bracket?

Well I have not tried that.... but I have spent hours trying to make this work......
I think we need more people to tell the MoCo you ****ed up!

How did the MoCo "f" up? You're putting an aftermarket item on it. Like I said, Genuine HD parts fit. I've never had a single issue on numerous HD backrests

No I bought a genuine MOCO mount....

Yes the backrest is a ebay item. I removed the adjusting screw. Without bending the backrest I don't see how it would work.

You may have to do what I did after buying an Ebay backrest. Put it on the shelf and buy one from HD. Good luck!

I had that backrest and mount but for my 13 King, but was all H-D. It mounted and fit fine. I sold it as I wanted to adjust on the fly, so I got the adjustable version. Quite happy now.

I agree with Jed. Better to get the real stuff.

I have a Mustang driver backrest that was used a couple of rides! Purchased a new seat and backrest and boxed that the Mustang! If interested let know.

So heat it and bend it. You ain’t gonna be out of pocket much if you muck it up.

I have the HD adjustable one and have been toying with bending mine back a hair or two.
