I would just work with V& H, they have good c.s., if your tuner is in auto tune, it will run a little rough, until you flash,, well, on a 2014 it's that way, But best to let V&H help you get er figured out,

Thanks Vernal for stepping in , you always have great info to share , very helpful to others .
A little dielectric grease helps, too.

You guys have been awesome! This is the second time I've used this Forum and its been very beneficial both times. I cleared the code and it hasn't came back on...YET. Crossing fingers. I have a new map on the bike, running better, but not perfect. I have go to a campground every weekend which is about 45-60 minutes away, so I think I'll run the Autotune and hopefully that makes everything right. I just want to make it to Sturgis and back!

Another question, just curious. Again thanks Vernal for the Diagnostic book. What is the other "data" port that's under the data port that I have the FP3 connected to?

Just for you to know , V&H recommends that you run at least 2 tanks of fuel before running auto tune , give the ecm a chance to " learn " the values before hand . When doing the tune , do 3 different sets , save each set , when you've completed 3 sets , then flash the auto tune . When your done change your throttle progressivity to " aggressive " .

There is a very helpful tutorial in the FP3 manual , which is in the FP3 program , top right hand side when you open it .

How about bout a picture and location, number of wires and color. The Data link connector is under the left side cover? I was thinking the accessory connector but I believe it’s under the seat.

Are there wires going to it or is the black part just a cover? What color wires go to the gray end?

It looks just like the data port, but there is a module plugged into it.

That plug is for your ABS brakes, the module that is plugged in is a Diode Pack.

Just throwing this out there, although I’m pretty sure not an issue, a 1 year old battery for you could have sat on a shelf for 3 years before you bought it. Batteries and tires, always check manufacture date.
