Model you would chose to build a performance bagger?
So obviously any Harley Davidson touring model can be turned into a performance bagger. But if you where in the position to buy a new touring model and start from scratch which one would you chose?
You always hear the arguments that the Road Glide is better then the Street Glide because it has the fixed to the frame fairing. And the RoadKing is even better because it has no fairing. And there is also the debate of the Standards vs the Specials. And so on. In my my opinion I think they all have their strong points and differences and all are good.
Seems like the performance bagger style is really taking off. So chose your weapon.
Well the poll is for a "Performance Bagger". I own a 2016 Road Glide Special which I'm aiming at making a hopefully decent performance bagger. Probably a 110 with cams and decent heads. I've had about 5 or 6 previous Harleys. One of them a 2014 Road King but I'd take the Road Glide over it any day. That's my vote.
I really love the fact that Harley came out with the 128 and 131 kits for the Baggers as well. Even they can see the Performance Baggers are really gaining popularity. I love watching the drag races on YouTube. Lol..
Lol.. Sorry but that thing is ugly as Hell. No thanks. To each his own. Plus its not an option in the Poll or the subject. This is strictly Harley Touring only.
I chose to do my build on the road king. With a built motor I don't need all the extra crap on it. It has it's own form of entertainment. Pop the shield off and blast around.
