Hey Almach5, Here's something for you to make that job easier. I have the Harley jumper pack ( NOCO GB40). I also ordered from NOCO's website a harness that connects to the battery, it's 8 gauge cable so it will carry the load, on the other end is a plug that plugs into the battery pack, so the clips aren't needed. The harness also comes with an adapter that the smart charger can plug into to charge the battery. Check out their website, it's free. Plug in the battery pack, turn on the battery pack and start the bike. EZ PZ.
Hey Barneyboy .....LOL....the comment from YouTube that you copied and pasted above was from me. I actually tried to call the guy in the video at the Montgomery, AL HD dealership.........surprise! he's not there! I suppose it might have been an issue with him giving out wrong info....LOL.
I posted that You Tube reply after I spoke to another tech at that dealership who told me the correct procedure.

That's funny because that thought entered my mind. When I first looked at the comments, your comment was 17 minutes old. Small world.
SenirsuperglideE8 - why did you go with the GB40 instead of the GB20? I see both, and it would seem that the GB20 would do the job as well. I also like the idea of the harness. Thanks!

I purchased the HOG Battery booster it has same features very closely resembles the GB40, so I used that logic and went the NOCO website and looked at their accessories for the GB40.
