I have only noticed this on my King during certain days in direct sunlight and yes, consider it normal. Interestingly the electricity meter at the side of my home does not seem to do that, however it is a different animal. Years ago had two pairs of Cibie driving lamps on two different vehicles which were hermetically sealed, both ended up with seal failure and were ruined. Does anyone know what modern technology is used to prevent this occurrence with regard to " all weather" gages? Not really forum related but just interested.

Same problem here, clear in the early morning and unreadable once the sun comes out.
