Hi, I read somewhere that although blanked off the accessory switch wiring is built in to the bike harnesses and all you need to do is replace blanks with the available switches and there are plugs located on the bike to attach accessories to.
i have replaced blanks but cant find the plugs or wires which become live.
i know about the accessory plug behind left side panel but that is ignition switch operated.
point is I have got some love jugs to fit(any derogatory statement not needed), and wanted to control them from these switches rather than having to turn them on and off individually.
Thanks for any help in advance.
The accessories connector under the left side cover accepts this harness, uses the left console switches via BCM as shown in the diagram from the installation instructions. Switch 3 controls items < 2 amps, switch 4 uses a relay & controls items > 2 amps.

Useful sketch, have switches installed but unable to find socket marked 6 as one in left side panel is ignition controlled not by new switch

The accessories cable plugs into the accessory connector in the left side cover & socket marked as 6 is part of that cable. The connector in the left side cover is controlled by the BCM & is only active if ignition is in ON or ACCY positions.
