Default New slip-ons are too loud
Put some Bassini slip on mufflers on the 2014 electra glide. I love the deep rumble, and around town they are great. Out on longer rides though, they are just too much and my ears ring like I just left a rock concert. Even tried some ear plugs. I really don't want to take them off and go back to stock.

Is there anything I can do to quiet them down some?

See if bassani makes a quiet baffle or take the current baffles out and wrap them in fiberglass or something if they aren't already wrapped.

These are really the only two viable options if you want to make them quieter.

fuel moto has baffle options for most major brands, check them out as well

Only other option would be to sell on here and try another brand.... Russian roulette with slipons per say...

Remove the baffles. Weld or attach a washer in the baffles to calm the sound down.

you might find someone with an exhaust they think is too quiet for an aftermarket an trade ya.
