just picked up a new Road Glide Special last year (2019). Added quite a few parts to it but nothing major by any means other than swapping out the front 19" for a 21. Been experiencing a high pitch whistle that seems to be coming from somewhere in the fairing at higher speeds, and its driving me nuts. Now, I've taken her into Harley on a number of occasions to rectify this sound but they can't fix it and gave me some bullshit answer the last time at Mackie. Any suggestions on what it may be or does anyone know someone close to Toronto or surroundings that's an expert with this ****?
Bike looks great good job. I had this and the whistle was coming from the lower edge of the wind shield where it meets the fairing. Try removing the shield and putting some thin foam in the between shield and fairing

Same here on the location where it was whistling. Front edge/seam of the windshield. Easy enough to use some electrical tape over the seam to verify.
Oh wow... I had the same thing on my 17 RGU but never really paid it much attention... just figured it was "one of those things" I'd have to deal with.

I found your post because I've been having a similar problem with my '21 Road Glide Special (also Billiard Teal, BTW!) but only when going between 55 and 65 mph. I never thought of it possibly being my windshield (11" Freedom Shield recurve which I've had since practically day 1 owning the bike) but I'll have to look into it. Only thing is I'm not quite sure where it is the others are saying needs to be taped off. Did you ever manage to fix the problem?
