How long does it normally take yall to ride 500 miles?
That's going to depend a lot on the roads your riding and schedule/stops. However, I usually use a 50 miles / hour rough estimate for ride planning. So 10 hours. Recently did a single bike 2-up 1100+ mile ride with my wife as passenger in just over 20 hours.

Id like to get a bike under 10k. How long does it normally take yall to ride 500 miles?
I switched to a road king (from a 2010 Dyna) last year. Best decision Ive made since hopping on a motorcycle at 16 years old.
I think the best deal on a road king is the 2014 and newer Road King Police. I bought a 2015 Road King Police with 28k miles for $7k in December 2019 from a private seller. When I was in Daytona beach for bike week in March 2020, Bruce Rossmeyer had several 2017 road king police bikes with under 25k miles on them for $10,999.00. I also regularly see local municipalities selling 2014-2016 road kings for $7500-8500.
Good luck on the search. Let us know what you end up getting.

This is a good estimate. My 575 mile trips is about 9 hrs. My riding buddies and I have gone coast-to-coast a couple of times and we average about 10 hour days and we normally do 500 - 600 miles.
Right on, I've been looking at most dealers here and they're road kings from 06 and up are priced closer to 10k. I figured since it's winter they'd be a little cheaper but im not finding anything thats worth it right now. I can't go private because I still owe a little bit on my bike so I'd like to trade it in and get it paid off. Can anyone recommend a reputable dealer in arkansas, LA, TN, or texas?
