Maint Log book
Hattitude,
I printed one up some time back for our car and truck, but I do not like the layout I created. I also want a printed version, to keep in the bike, instead of on my phone. I have tons of computer skills and experience, but prefer printed for easy access.
Id lose it if I were to try to keep it on a shelf. Plus, Id probably forget to put notes in it.
Ive thought about a whiteboard for the shop. For keeping track of things I want/need to do.

I have used this for about 6 years now and really like it, you can input or view information via the website or the app on your phone. It has a glovebox section in it where I can easily access personal docs that may be needed on the road such as DL, AMA card, HOG card, etc... I enter the information for those cards as well as snap a pic of the card. If my wallet is lost or not handy I have the card info. There is also a general docs section for each vehicle/bike where I keep docs specific to that bike such as registration, insurance cards, tag receipt etc.... In addition it allows you to set expirations and alert dates for the docs such as insurance, tag so that you get an alert letting you know something is expiring
For service it makes it really easy on the app, you click to add a new service item fill out information and it also lets you snap a picture of the receipt that is stored with that service item. Any time I add parts to a bike, seat, pipes etc... I create a service item with a pic of the receipt for that item as well as a pic of the item on the bike. That way if an insurance question should ever arise I have proof of what was added to the bike. If I have a warrenty issue with a part/accessory that I need to talk to the manufacture about I have a record of when I purchased/installed it as well as a photo copy of the purchase receipt
There is also a fuel section for each vehicle where you can track fill ups if you want, and it keeps a MPG tally showing lifetime of the vehicle as well as between each fill up
If you sell the vehicle and want to provide the service records to a new owner you have the option of printing them off as pdf, or emailing them to the new owner.
What I like about it is the info is always available on my phone if I need to reference a service or part that I added or if I need to see the last service on a specific bike It is right at my finger tips on the phone. Entering the service item could not be easier, you simply click on "Add new service" fill out the info, snap a pic of the service receipt and you have the record saved along with photo copy of the paperwork. When I have servce done I enter the info on the app, snap a pic of the receipt all in less than a couple of minutes before walking out of the dealer.
When I traded my 17 RGU for the 2020 most of the service had been done at HD so that was all in HDs data base for them to assure a new/potential buyer that service intervals were followed. However a couple of the fluid changes were done by me, tires purchased by me and mounted by an indy I emailed the dealership a copy of my servce records at the time we made the deal so that he had the file to show new buyer that all servce intervals were followed, date an milage of tire changes as well as records of all accessories on the bike along with dates/milage of installs.

I keep the3x5 in the glovebox, the saddlebag, etc. Along with an envelope for receipts.
I’d lose it if I were to try to keep it on a shelf. Plus, I’d probably forget to put notes in it.

I just noticed I'm overdue for a brake fluid flush on my bikes....
Do you print this out before filling it out? Or is it all on the computer? I want a printed version to keep in the bike, for my reference and the dealer, if necessary.

I looked at the site, but no mention of cost, without signing up, I assume. Is it a one time purchase or monthly fee? Not interested in a monthly fee, fixed incomes only go so far, and we're trying to fanagle a new car for momma, since hers is a 2005 with over 250k on it.
