Question LED front turn signals cause fast dash lights.

2119 FLHTK, I installed the H-D front turn signal inserts and followed the procedures listed in a link, didn’t work.
  1. Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike.
  2. Turn on 4 way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls. Note: DO NOT press both turn signal switch's at the same time. That is the way the hazards activate on PRE CANBUS bikes.
  3. Turn the Ignition off letting hazards run. IF the bike has security they will flash 5 or 6 times and then pause. This is normal. They will go back to flashing normal hazard mode.
  4. Let hazards run 1-2 minutes.
  5. Turn Ignition back on.
  6. Turn off hazards.
  7. Turn Ignition off and then back on.
  8. Check function of both turn signals.
Secondary Turn Signal Sync Procedure (If Needed)
  1. Turn Ignition on, and start the bike.
  2. Turn on 4 way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls.
Note: DO NOT press both turn signal switch's at the same time. That is the way the hazards activate on PRE CANBUS bikes.
  3. Let hazards run 1-2 minutes with engine running.
  4. Turn off hazards.
  5. Turn Ignition off and then back on and restart the bike.
  6. Check function of both turn signals.'
Tried leaving 4-ways on for 10 minutes, reset BCM by pulling main fuse for 10 minutes, erased codes in BCM before and after. Always comes back with same codes, b2141, b2146. Also after riding for an hour or so the white lights will go out and sometimes the amber will flash without the turn signals on. Heat related maybe, I live in AZ. Any insight would be appreciated.

Installed HD LED inserts on my '20 Heritage. All I did was turn on the hazards and let them flash 12 times. Double-check your wiring.

Also, while you're re-checking your work, be sure to wipe any grease out of the sockets best you can.
I put CD LEDs in and remember reading that not getting the grease out can cause annoying issues... LEDs draw such little current.

Thank you for that. It worked for me. I was getting ready to call CD to see what the issue was.
