I dont know if this will help or not but I went from the stock Road Glide Ultra seat to a Harley TallBoy seat. The passenger pillion for the TallBoy was slightly smaller. My wife, who rides with me 99% of the time noticed right away. She tolerates the TallBoy but Im sure she would love to have the stock seat back. I need to find a compromise.
Thanks for the input. She did not like the stock Limited seat that came on it at all. I had kept the Hammock from my previous bike and she does like it. I'd personally prefer a bit more room that's why I'm looking at the extended. According to the Saddlemen site specs, even their extended seat has as much room from the driver backrest to the rear of the seat so length won't be an issue. Again, concerned though about going from almost 16" wide to 12" wide. She by no means uses all 16" and am sure she'd fit on 12". Just have to make sure whatever I get, at a minimum, it's at least as comfortable for her as what we currently have. More comfort would be even better!

I emailed Saddlemen about this same thing... they said to look at the Triglide seat. Its exactly the same seat but with a wider passenger section. I believe its 13 instead of 12. Something to consider...

That's good to know . In my seat search I had thrown out
the Saddlemen because of the size of the passenger area .
Now I got to look at it again .

Thanks Dino! Where do I find the TriGlide seat? I've looked all over the "Touring" seats and can't seem to find it anywhere on their website.

I just found the Tri-Glide version at the end of the Road Sofa LS listing .
I don't see an extended version though . The passenger section is 13.5
wide .
