Default ABS Bearing

Hello fellow riders, I sold my 2013 Non ABS Softail Deluxe and bought my firs ABS motorcycle a 2008 Screaming eagle Road King It has a front rim that is an aftermarket 21" rim with a one rotor setup a brembo caliper with the a speed sensor ring zipped to the brake line. The brake line has been replaced with a single magnum shielding brake cable that goes into the ABS module. I took the wheel off and it has a non abs bearing installed instead of the ABS type. If I replace the bearing do you think it might work or will I have to have both dual sensors on the wheel with 2 ABS bearings on the rim for this to work? Last thought or should I just forget the ABS all together and leave it as is, your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm a fan of ABS. But can't help too much with the answer.

General information:

The ABS bearing, 9252A is thicker than the non ABS bearing, 9276B . SO you would most likely need to fab a new spacer or cut the one you have down.

The reason I post this is to learn how do you calibrate the ABS for the different size rim. Hope someone has that answer.

ABS bearing only goes on 1 side, there is also only 1 sensor. As prevously noted, the ABS bearing is wider, you will need to change the spacer on the ABS side.

If it was me, I'd convert it back to a dual front rotor setup and then worry about the ABS. YMMV.
