HK Radio, Clock is possessed.
Two weeks ago, after giving the bike its weekly clean-up. The radio started to act funny. It was changing stations, moving from AM to FM. to WB. I figured something had gotten wet and needed to dry out. Umm, no big deal. It stopped.
Well today, the clock, each time I would go to start the bike, would register either 1hour ahead, two hours ahead, and sometimes even three hours ahead of what the time should have been. ( and the bike did not have its weekly bath) So no water to cause this problem.
A few times, after getting down the road, it would reset itself and show the correct time. And one time, I had to reset the time.
Yeah, the bike is under warranty, shall take it in. But would rather fix it myself before having to take it to them.
Is anyone else having problems like this, and what did you do to fix it?

HK has posted on the web site:
NOTE: Due to constant complaints about the latest upload V8.19, we have removed it from this page. We suggest a minimum of V8.9 in all HK radios. V8.11 is said to fix issues with CB radios, and clocks gaining time. If you don't have a Ultra, or a fast clock, stick to V8.9. If you already have V8.19, our tests and customer feedback suggest that reinstalling V8.9 will make the radio play louder!
I had version 8.19 installed on the bike. The techs must of done it while the bike was in for service. However it took a while for it to start acting up. Very odd.
Here is the web site for those that might be having the same problem.
