I put a detachable tour -pak on my street glide. It never came back off.

On my limited I have no plan to take it off ever. Lunch box full, face helmet, sena freewire. Just stuff that's needed on daily basis. If I took it off I would have to drive my truck and winter is long enough as it is.

I've just began looking at Limited's and already know I'm gonna get the quick detach kit right off the bat. Day to day items can be thrown in the saddlebags and I'll really only need the trunk for longer trips while 2up.

I’ve had mine on once in 12 years. It sits on top of the fridge in the garage.

I am buying my colormatched trunk setup this winter, and I am definitely going with the detachable, so that I can leave it off except for those long trips. I have friends with RoadGlides that NEVER remove them, even with the HD detachable set up.

I leave the tour-pak on. I'm lazy and find having the tour-pak is VERY convenient.

I took the tour-pac off, and put a roll bag on the passenger seat. The wife does not Ride.
When I go on a long road trip i put the tour-pac on.
I like cruising around the mountain roads and going to town without the tour-pac,

Mine is an Ultra Limited, and I keep the tour pack on all the time. Where else would I keep my bowling ball? 🎳
