Interesting. Wanted to get the color model cause I thought it be easier to see during the day....maybe Ill save some $$$ and get the regular model.

it may not be as much an issue for you with a batwing. i had a road glide. the radio was in a different spot, and angled differently. other than the display, there are other differences as well. the usb input on the monochrome display is only for charging, while on the color display, it will read data as well. and the color display model is sirius/xm ready, though admittedly, that was not a factor for me, i don't care about sirius/xm. my model was also a generation behind this one, so there may be differences in the display as well. if i had to do it over, i would still get it. it isn't like i spend a lot of time reading what track is playing....

Thanks for all the feedback, going with the Aquatic AV-AQ-MP-5BT-H. Has great reviews, can't afford the Rockford, no suggestions on other brands.
