What Does It Mean When . . .
I can shift into Neutral easy when the engine is cold, but can't after I've ridden 20 miles and the engine has heated up?
I've adjusted the clutch a couple of times, but can't figure out how to compensate for whatever is happening with the temperature change.
Running Redline MTL in the primary and Heavy Shock in the tranny.

Check the primary chain tension and adjust as needed.
It sounds as though it is heating up and expanding and becoming too loose..............making it hard to find neutral.

That's what I needed to know. Last time I adjusted the clutch I loosened the chain up a little, thinking it was a little too tight -- sure is hard to get a good reading. Must have made the situation worse.
Just a question, what happens if I adjust the chain too tight?

Sounds like too much oil in the primary. If the level is just a smidge too high it'll make the clutch drag and make neutral damn hard to find. Sounds like after the oil heats up and rises it's above the optimum level.
