Kind of feels like a shock issue. Not through pot holes, but going through dips, the bike has the feeling of a pickup needing new shocks, where itll bottom out and scrape. Not a giant guy, 200lbs. Any recommendations on new shocks? Currently stock air shocks on her.
thanks.
What pressure are you running in the air shocks and how fast is the air leaking out? Most leaks are at the hose connections. For a firmer ride you can change the weight of the shock oil. You didn't list the mileage but on an 08 at minimum a change of shock fluid would be a good idea.
To answer the question for the price it's hard to beat a set of take of H-D hand adjustable emulsion shocks usually $150-200 sometimes lower. The 13" later shocks have a sticker that says STD for standard.
Spend some $$$, ditch that crap stock suspension, call DK Customs and get a set of Bitubo shocks for the back, a good mid priced shock IMHO, then get yourself a set of Progressive or other fork kit. If you are thinking of doing chrome lowers this would be the time to do it.
You'll be amazed what good suspension will do for any HD
