The problem with all those nice LED lights, is that they’re not adjusted, or they’re adjusted to Mfg spec’s. those instruction sheets are there to make sure you don’t blind anybody, and to meet govt regs, not so you have maximum output. that’s why they look like you can’t see them during the day. As for light cut off, all modern lights have them. It takes a little experimenting to find the sweet spot. I have a Mazda CX 5 with factory LEDs. when I got it I couldn’t see ****. I just adjusted them a little higher as to not to be obnoxious and they now work great. The only trade-off is that the high beams are just a tad high.
I also went the Sunpie route, they were easy to install and a vast improvement at night. I did end up modifying the harness to allow the driving lights to stay on when the high beam is on. The driving lights throw so much usable light.
How did you accomplish this?
I was thinking about how much you lose when you turn on the high's and the driving lights go out.
My results, headlight makes me more visible, lights us roads signs great, doesn't lite the road as well. Just my opinion.
turn signals, look cool! Biggest selling point is less load, but you must add a load equalizer to make the lights blink properly. Then if one goes out you can't find a matching light so you replace both.
