2016 Road Glide. Opened up my clutch side switch housing(the housing with all the electrical stuff, horn, turn signals etc.) and this little part fell out. I have no idea where it goes back into. Can someone tell where this part is supposed to go?
I can't really tell from the angle of the picture, but the only thing that should be in there that's around that size is the clutch interlock button. That thing that won't let you start your bike unless the clutch is disengaged. If it isn't that then I have no idea. Only manual I have is for my '08 FLHT, but most the switch housings are quite similar.

I'll take a look at where the clutch housing mates to the electrical housing and see if that's where it goes. Funny it should just fall out when dissembled.
Are you the original owner? I've run across a variety of unidentifiable non-OE parts that previous owners have used to fix something that was broken. Some are well thought out and long lasting, some not so much.
I put everything back together without the little part and everything appears to work. I guess it's off to the "Unknown Parts" box. Someday I'm going to need a bigger box.
