I'll give you a good run for your money for who is the cheaper bastard between the two of us, but I yielded to temptation and bought the cruise control, kicking and screaming as those greenbacks floated away into cyberspace (on-line order). I can say that though pricey it is worth every penny, and have not regretted the purchase for an instant. Just get it, and to save money in the skinflint tradition, install it yourself. As an added incentive, buy from Zanotti's or Chicago HD for a 20% or higher discount. Boy, are we saving big money now! Justification in our own cheap minds is the key. Instead of dwelling on the cost, just think about how much money you're saving buying on-line and installing it yourself!
BTW, do you stand in a Wal-Mart isle for 10-15 min., staring at the choices trying to decide whether to buy the $1.39 or splurge for the $1.49 item? Just wondering if I was alone in this behavior.
One more vote for the throttlemate. Works great / easy to install and will be shipped out to you immediately. Very nice people to deal with. www.throttlemate.com
