2010 tour pack on a 2005
I have a buddy looking to sell the tour pack off of his 2010 touring. I would like to mount it to my 2005 flht. The qd mount currently on the tour pack does not line up with the qd mounts on my bike. Can I just buy the mount for my year? Will the bolt pattern mount up to the newer year tour pack? Or is there a reasonable conversion type kit? Any info is appreciated.

Buy the quick detach mount for your year bike and mount the tour pak to it. I have a buddy who put my 2003 tour pak on his 2019 Road KIng. You may have to drill new holes in the mount plate you get to get it on, but that isn't a big deal. No one will see them once the tour pak is mounted.
