Lost Automatic Compression Release Hole Plug
I lost the bolt that plugs the hole where the automatic compression release went. I have 2005 FLHTC EFI with the Screamin Eagle stage IV. The bike was my dad's. He had them put manual compression releases in when he got the stage IV, so they plugged the hole in the top of the cylinder heads. I lost it on the road, luckily, only about a mile from my house, so I was able to limp home on one cylinder.
My question: how do I replace that plug? It's super tight to get in there. Has anyone ever had to replace one of these? Do I have to pull the rocker box to come down on top, or is there a way to tighten up the replacement through the side, past the spark plug?
