so from what i understand two things from this thread.
A. an 07 or prior year SERT device (not map) will not work on an 08, or the maps for prior years.
B. you can only use aftermarket slip-ons with the stage one downloadIF you keep the stock headers intact?
Yes, with a high flow AF such as the Screamin' Eagle. There are other high flow filters available that flow better than the SE so be careful how far you go with the download only.
2007 & 2008 are not the same and not compatible. At least in the touring bikes.
SERT 'K' CD will be released sometime in September... you can order it now from Zanotti's (I did)
I have last year's SERT - so am only looking for the new CD for the '08's. Has anyone heard that new SERT hardware is required? Zanotti's says it still uses the same serial interface cable as last year, so it sounds like it is the same unit. (cause why would you re-design the SERT and not change it to USB.)
