Default Forward Controls

About 6 months ago I sold my 2007 Heritage Classic and bought a 2013 Electra Glide because I was riding to Daytona from LA...which I did, but it wasn't as comfortable as thought it was going to be. Not so much for the seat itself, but the foot controls. My Heritage felt like I could extend my legs plenty without using the highway pegs. I rode to Sturgis (also from LA) in 2019, and it was quite comfortable, thought I did not have as much storage space. Hence, the reason I decided to get the Electra Glide. The Electra glide feels like I couldn't extend my legs as much as the Heritage. I'm 6 feet tall, and I have long legs, and it felt like I was riding in the fetal position. Are the Electra Glides technically mid controls? If so, is there a kit to move them forward with floorboards and everything? I know there are peg versions, but I feel the pegs would be more uncomfortable even if they are moved forward. I basically want the same experience as my Heritage with the floorboards.

I put footboards that are 1 1/2” forward and 3/4” out with 2” extended shifter and brake pedal. Basic fat rubber highway pegs mounted low. I’m 6’ and very comfortable, the most I rode in one day was 530 miles without feeling cramped.

I wonder if it's the same kit I got just before I went to Daytona...I got one that bring out the floorboard out about an inch (hoping it would help) but I'm not sure if it moved it forward at all. I ended up removing it halfway through the trip because I'd end up hooking the edge of my boot as I was stopping making me drop the bike a couple of times. Maybe I just need a customized seat, so I can seat further back which can allow me to extend my legs a bit more. I have almost abnormally long legs compared to someone the same height as me...lol.
