Awhile back while looking for a new exhaust i stumbled upon this exhaust Crossover Plug but didn't jump on it. Now it's out of stock everywhere and I'm really curious as to how well it could have worked. Does anyone have any experience with it?

A lot of people just weld a frost plug in their crossover pipe.
yep, a "freeze plug" works (which it isn't it is a core plug for casting the water jackets, they just happen to pop out SOMETIMES when there is insufficient anti-freeze in the engine)
I have never bought into the theory though.... but I am not an engine tuner, someone with more knowledge than I can explain why/how it works.... in cars we always used a H pipe to balance the exhaust and for scavenging purposes

After the install , the front and rear cylinders still "communicate" at the right side Y pipe
Just and easy / inexpensive way to convert 2-1-2 into 2-1
Good thing about the store bought plug is that it`s easily reversible !
