Default Siren 2 module

Ordered the siren module along with the pager. Question is does the pager unit turn the alarm off once it's been activated from someone messing with the bike. Or is the pager's job only to notify me that someone has messed with my bike. If not I'm assuming to turn the alarm off I must be near the bike with my regular key fob.
If I can't turn the alarm off with the pager unit I'm contemplating sending it back. Of those who have the pager is it worth having.

This is on a 2021 limited

Yes, absolutly worth having. I can sit In a hotel Room or I can be at a coffee shop and my bike can be over a kilometre away and I will be notified if someone is messing with it. No you cannot cancel the alarm from your pager but absolutely it is a nice thing to have. Be advised that the battery will only last about a month in the pager so you want to ensure you replace it every month. I turn my pager off when not needed to try and get the battery to last as long as it can. I am assuming it uses up batteries because it has such a long range.

I take the battery out of the pager unless I'm out of town, really just use it on trips and staying in hotels. I don't have much need in the garage at home for it. Thats about the extent of my use for the pager, and its range is good for those stays where it may not be in sight... maybe I ought to stay at better hotels....

Hmm! lets see option A, find out someone is messing with your ride, and have to go turn the alarm off, or option B, send it back and have someone else have your ride, and or goodies? Gee, that's a tuff one.

How long have you had the rechargeable pager? I didn't even know they were/are still selling them. I thought about it when I got mine, but went with the battery model because I mostly use it just on out of town runs/trips, so I just pull the battery when I am not using it for prolonged periods. I have bad luck with rechargeable batteries lol

I purchased the Smart Siren II and the rechargeable pager on 20 September 2013.

Part numbers
68328-06A - Smart Siren II
91672-07 - Pager receiver II (rechargeable)

I just checked; the Smart Siren II is the same price, $94.95, as it was 8 years ago. It seems that HD has discontinued the rechargeable pager. Only the battery operated one is available @ $74.95. The rechargeable pager was $89.95 in 2013.

I am looking at my pager connected to the recharger as I type this. It works just like it did the day I bought it. This is it

It may, with a little good fortune, still be available. You never know.

Pager receiver II - rechargeable
