Rear sprocket bearings
I looked at getting a hydraulic press to do my wheel/pulley bearings a year ago... I could also use it for other things while working on my bikes/cars...
I only did a cursory check, as time was a bit of an issue. The hydraulic presses I found, that were large enough to fit a wheel/tire for wheel bearing install/removal, were too big for my space, and made a considerable jump in price from the usual suspects. Most of the usual suspects wouldn't fit a wheel/tire between the main supports..
I had a dealer do it for me... I was surprised, well actually shocked... the tech did a good job and it was at a reasonable cost...
I put the press verus wheel bearing tool on the back burner for further research...
For wheel bearings, I have the tool from George's Garage. I know many people favor the tool from Pit Posse (VT102) due to the more affordable price. I like the tools from George's Garage. Made in the USA, great warranty and his tools are made from heat treated steel, which may be stronger than the tools from other vendors. I thought the strength was important due to the small lip on the puller shafts of the wheel bearing tool.
One other piece of information. The press plates that come with the Harbor Freight press are garbage. Do yourself a favor and pickup good plates. I purchased my plates from Swag Offroad.

Thanks for that info, but I like tools... I usually never let an excuse to buy a tool pass me by....
As such, I like to buy quality tools, even if I only plan to use it once... I with few exceptions, I rarely buy tools from Harbor Freight, unless aI'm considering it a throw away...
I was looking at something like this one...

But it was too big, for my little shop...
