Having an issue getting power to my love jugs cooling fan through a newly installed accessory switch.
2020 Road Glide that didnt come with the switch originally. Had an authentic H-D accessory switch installed at the dealer. Didnt have them put the live jugs on.
Plugged everything into the proper ports to check for proper functions. Nothing.
Tested the fan itself with a battery pack. Works fine.
getting power all the way up to the relay. Relay clicks but puts no power to any of the other points of the relay. Changed the relay twice just in case. Its not the relay. Im stumped.
There may be lead wire off the accessory harness, that gets connected to the pos term on the battery , that feeds that relay for high current applications.
I am using the auxiliary power switch kit. Part number 71400129.
I checked all terminals of the relay and none of them get any power. It is a 5-pin relay with 87a open sitching to 87. I get power to the lead wire connected to terminal 85 but the relay does not transfer the power to t 87.
I am using the stock acessoryport located on the left side of the motorcycle. It is a 20220 Road Glide.

Per the installation instructions for this part, the harness gets plugged into the 325B connector located behind the right side cover near the ABS controller. See figure 2 in the installation instructions. I believe this stuff got changed the year they introduced the CoolFlow fan (2018?)? Earlier kits did get connected to the P&A connector under the left side cover. This gets connected there too, but also to 325B on the right side. Plus there is a fused hot lead that goes to the battery (item 2 in table 1).
