Acc. switch quit working

Default Acc. switch quit working
Yesterday my acc. switch quit working , I thought no big deal blown fuse. I just checked the fuse and it is fine , any ideas on what to check next??

Check the switch to make sure it is good,if it is has to be a power wire loose or broken.

What are you opeating with the switch? I ask because the switch is for low amperage use.

Sirius sat. power supply. 5amp I believe.

Does light on switch come on? If light comes on, should have power at switch. Do you have a multimeter? May need to check operation of switch with multimeter.

If you have already verified that the fuse is good and that there is no power at the connection to the Sirius, then the next step would be to pull the fairing cap and check the switches.

Light on the acc. switch does not come on , other switches are working fine.

Get to switch and check for power at switch. Start working your way back to fuse box. Does cig. lighter work? 08 Ultra brand new, first cig., lighter won't work and acc. switch light won't come on. Checked fuse OK (so I thought) brought to dealer and no fuse installed? Boy did I feel silly.

Switches can get dirty and sometimes a shot of contact cleaner will get them working again.
