Default PowerVision Problem

I've read as many forum posts as I could find and wasn't able to locate a solution to this problem. I am hoping maybe someone has had this same issue.

I have a 2016 FLHT and recently installed a PowerVision purchased from FuelMoto. When I ordered they preloaded the map for me. I installed the PV to the bike and loaded the map. Everything was working perfectly. Two days ago I went for a short ride without problems. I stopped, turned the bike off, and when I started the bike up again, it started and immediately shut down. When I turned the ignition on there were no lights on the dash, i.e. engine light, oil light, (the normal lights that come one when the ignition is turned on). Everything was dead except the radio (after market) and the PV had power. I checked all connections and everything looked good. I decided to disconnect the PV and when I did everything was working normally again. Connected the ignition doesn't turn on, disconnected it works normally. Yesterday I did some more trouble shooting with connections and stuff and still found nothing wrong. I decided to connect the FP3 I had before the PV. With the FP3 connected everything works fine. I sent an email to FuelMoto and to DynoJet and I'm waiting for their replies. Has anyone else had this issue before or does anyone know what could be causing it?

Did you disconnect at the PV or at the connector behind the side cover?

Sounds to me like the PV or its cable have an issue... it happens...

FWIW... you have the tune downloaded and it should run fine until they (FM or DynoJet) get it sorted out for you...

I'm one of those who uses my PV for downloading a tune, checking for codes, and/or doing an Auto Tune session.... the rest of the time my PV is in a shop drawer...

Agree with above , cable or PV unit. Do you know a fellow rider with a PV? you could plug his in and see how the bike is affected. although it is not "married" to your bike, there will be some functions available. If all is good, your PV is the problem, if still bad the cable is the culprit.

No matter what it is FM will make it right. Everything has its issues. I've had my pv for like 8 years and never had a hiccup
