Mid range might benefit some from some head work, but otherwise I'd consider leaving them alone--maybe swap to thinner head gaskets if you need more compression. You can get 90% or more of the benefits for a small fraction of the money, and once the newness has worn off you'll never notice the difference out riding unless you're the type to really rod the hell out of it daily.

Unless you've got money burning a hole in your pocket and want dyno numbers to brag about--in which case, go crazy!
He already has the big bore jugs & SE heads, needs cams, valvetrain "stuff" & tune, which is pretty much what you're advising (perhaps you didn't understand he already had parts?).

It was a fun weekend to watch motorcycle drags! I’m also interested in upgrading my stock 16’ RGS.

Anyone that brings up 4in^3 is not seeing the bigger picture. The extra cubic inches is just a part of a package, but it's less about the cubes than the package. When I'm ready, this will be my move.

I've purchased several things from FM and have only the highest regard. Could you do the same by selecting your own aftermarket parts? Sure, why not? Will it save you a whole pile of cash ... likely not. You have a quality company, putting together quality parts at a fair price and everything is supported by one company that won't leave you hanging. You're getting a better deal where now?

If a cam and tune work with a 107 they'll work with a 103, allowing for differences with compression. Four cubic inches isn't going to make or break anything.

I've also bought plenty of stuff from fuel moto over the years and they are a good outfit with helpful support when I've needed to call. That said, their support on tunes is pretty limited if you're not running woods cams, and the symmetrical timing on most woods options just doesn't make sense to me. Just my preference. I'm sure they work great with proper tuning, and if you check the cam shootout stickies you'll see there's actually very little difference between various options aside from RPM range. Bear in mind a 10% difference is generally accepted as the threshold for noticing a "seat of the pants" difference in performance, so unless you're drag racing or hopping from bike to bike most of these peak numbers on dyno sheets are academic.

If you want to go with a turnkey package and get a few extra cubes then great, that's a fine choice. Given OP's question I thought it worth mentioning other options, and I'm sure FM would sell him woods cams, tuner, exhaust, etc a la carte if he wants the benefit of their tuning expertise.

There are so many options it will make your head spin. A good matching combo with a perfect tune to what your riding style is will make you impressed.
