Default Lower triple tree wind deflector and head buffeting

Good morning all……

I have been looking on info to help with some air turbulence I have been experiencing right at my head level. Usually around the 45+ speed.

I have an 09 ultra classic Electra glide. With the clockwerks wind screen. And has lower fairing. When I’m sitting my vision is just above the top of the screen. I also have the small kuryakyn wind deflectors on the lower sides of the front fairing.

im looking at adding the kuryakyn lower triple tree wind deflector as I read on here a lot of the turbulence comes from below.

Does anyone here have this mounted on their bike? And what was the outcome?

or besides fork mounted wind deflector what other options are out there?

I added a Kuryakyn one to my 2015 StreetGlide a couple years ago. There is a noticeable difference at higher speeds. I used to avoid freeway travel as much as possible because my riding glasses bounced so bad I had trouble seeing. Now I can ride at higher speeds with almost no problems as the buffeting is all but gone. They don't cost that much and are well worth the money.

thats the issue I’m having. Along with beating my helmet like my glasses.
do you by chance know if they will fit with a lower fairing?

Do a tank lift and add cooling deflector wings. Problem solved.

Bonus - Engine will run cooler, too.

I added a knock off no name brand triple tree deflector to my SGS and it made a small difference. Still looking to add fork mounted wind deflectors next as I think those will make a bigger difference in the enjoyment of the ride.

I just bought one from Amazon. It was only 16 bucks, so I thought, what the hell. Most of the reviews say it doesn't help much. I also ordered these:
Amazon Amazon

We'll see if it helps. I do experience my head being beat-up when I am on the freeway. I already have 6.5 KW screen, so I am thinking this should do it for me. If not, I am going to upgrade to 8.5 inch screen.

Your bike looks awesome by the way. That seat really makes a nice contrast.
