Default Losing clutch free play
I'm looking for suggestions on a problem I'm having. I am losing clutch handle free play only in 5th gear when I accelerate. It gets worse when I give it more throttle. I don't have this problem in any of the other gears. It happened 2 years ago and I put a trap door in and that solved the problem. But could a Baker Street Door go bad in less that 10,000 miles?

When you loose free play does the clutch slip? Would also help to know what bike.

2011 FLHTK 103 Yes, the clutch will slip if I stay in the throttle. I usually back off to save the Barnett Clutch I have in it.
